Fentanyl, a synthetic opioid, is now the No. 1 killer in Kentucky and the nation. It can quickly stop the user’s breathing, and tiny amounts can be fatal. Kentucky had 1,247 fatal overdoses in 2018. While heroin, fentanyl and other opioids have dominated much of the nation’s focus, another danger is gaining momentum across Kentucky. Methamphetamine (Crystal meth.)

The disease of addiction is killing people in Northern Kentucky! In fact, it killed one of our family members. Nicholas’ accidental overdose broke our hearts. Instead of letting it tear our family down, we are going to fight.

Did you know? On January 6th, 2015, NKYHatesHeroin.Com along with 2 bus loads of our supporters traveled to Frankfort, Kentucky and "took over the capital", sharing our stories with our elected leaders, which eventually resulted in changes to a variety of addiction related laws in the state.
